Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is disrupting how information is processed and searched. It can help information professionals improve their services by allowing individuals to perform more effective searches. However, there are concerns about its potential to replace humans in various jobs and lead to catastrophic events. Artificial intelligence (AI) has positive and negative impacts, but its potential to improve the operations of libraries far outweigh its drawbacks. According to Robinson, it can help them achieve their goals of improving the user experience and operational efficiency. AI can help libraries establish themselves as leaders in the scholarly community. In advanced nations, such as the US, libraries have integrated the capabilities of AI by applying various cutting-edge technologies, like augmented reality and virtual reality. These innovations have greatly enhanced how individuals discover information. The chapter explores the utilization of AI within libraries and the obstacles that it encounters when it comes to implementation.
