Abstract

The last few years have seen unprecedented growth in AI. Nevertheless, very limited research exists on the effect AI may cause to the human rights and fundamental rights of the individuals. Issues further exist on the role the state may play in determination and protection of rights of the individual. Therefore, in this chapter, the authors show the impact of AI on human rights. The role the state may play in protection of those rights and the best method to regulate the AI are explored. The authors ultimately assert that AI is a beneficial tool and some regulations from the side of the state will protect the fundamental rights of the citizens.
