Abstract

The agricultural sector is undergoing frequent transformation and the inclusion of data analysis techniques have the potential to revolutionize the traditional farming practices. In recent years, use of data analysis methodologies with farming has become very important, as it can make farming more sustainable and efficient in the future. The main objective of this chapter is to explore and establish a comprehensive data analysis methodology for sustainable farming. The relationship between data-driven approaches and the advancement of commercially and environmentally sound and economically viable agricultural practices are explored. By combining computer science and engineering with farming knowledge, this new method aims to change how farming can be done in an advanced way and wants to use resources better, grow more crops, and encourage sustainable farming.
