Abstract
Women play a very vital role in agricultural production across the globe; nevertheless, they are faced with numerous challenges which include limited access to land, credit/loan, technological education, among others. Research shows that only 10%-20% of land owners are women, and in some nations, women cannot have full legal ownership or control of the land. Addressing these challenges is essential for promoting gender equity in the agricultural sector, and it will give them ampule opportunity to fully contribute to agricultural development, food security, and sustainable agricultural production.
