Abstract

Natural language processing, or NLP, can be used to produce information, knowledge or content by understanding the meaning of words, sentences, and texts. Modern search technology has been transformed by NLP, which makes it possible to provide more precise, pertinent, and customized search results. Search engines can interpret natural language queries, comprehend user intent, provide tailored results, and overcome language barriers by utilizing NLP techniques. By examining previous search queries, click-through rates, and user reviews, NLP-enabled search engines can comprehend context and search trends. Personalized search results and recommendations that are in line with the user's particular needs are then provided using this information. By continuously learning and adapting to user behavior, search technology using NLP can provide a more intuitive and satisfying search experience. This chapter outlines fundamentals of NLP, which is required in search optimization. The latest trends in search optimization with AI are also discussed in depth with future challenges and opportunities.
