Abstract
Digitization and automation are emerging trends in today's tech era. Digitization and robotization essentially always had a significant influence on real-time medical applications. The chapter presents a proposed architecture in the healthcare domain using the metaverse virtual platform for patients' and doctors' interactions. In the proposed architecture, doctors, nurses, and patients are represented using the avatars. Interaction and consultation-related data like health parameters and doctor recommendations are recorded using recent technologies like blockchain technology, digital twins, NLP, etc. Artificial intelligence (AI) based technologies are used for logic interpretation, transparency, and result calculations. This chapter presents the conceptual framework for metaverse technologies, and further various technological aspects are discussed that are essential for metaverse collaborations. Several case studies, future trends, and recommendations based on supervised learning are discussed in more detail.
