Abstract
The increasing prevalence of stress-related disorders underscores the need for innovative solutions. This abstract presents a novel approach to stress reduction through a Virtual Therapy Centre in the metaverse. Leveraging the immersive nature of virtual reality (VR) and the social connectivity of the metaverse, the virtual therapy centre provides a unique environment for therapeutic interventions. The key features of the virtual therapy centre include customizable avatars, immersive environments, and real-time biofeedback to enhance the therapeutic experience. Preliminary studies indicate that the virtual therapy centre has a positive impact on stress reduction, with users reporting decreased levels of stress and increased feelings of relaxation and well-being. The virtual therapy centre represents a promising approach to stress reduction, offering a scalable and accessible platform for delivering therapeutic interventions in the metaverse.
