Abstract
The tourism sector is a dynamic one that greatly depends on technological innovations to improve client experiences, optimize operations, and foster sustainable growth. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the travel and tourism sector by creating new avenues for data-driven decision-making, customized services, and innovative marketing strategies. This book chapter literature investigates the applications, advantages, difficulties, and potential uses of AI in the growth of tourism. Smart technologies can be defined as implementing information and communications technologies such as artificial intelligence, internet things, and cloud computing to offer travelers customized information and increased services established by mobile users. New and latest versions of smartphones, and high technology with modern tools play a vital role in the tourism and hospitality industry.
