Abstract
The corporate social responsibility literature is increasingly focusing on the leadership aspects of the field. However, the investigation of how leadership influences social responsibility development is fragmented and limited. Thus, the objectives of this research are to develop a framework for the hypothesized relationships between leadership and social responsibility, to identify the main areas and current dynamics of leadership in social responsibility, and to identify potential avenues for future research on the relationship between leadership and CSR development. To address this objective, a comprehensive review of the literature was conducted, supplemented by a bibliometric analysis. This chapter contributes to different results and perspectives, namely helping academics, managers, and society understand the past literature and sheds light on future directions.
