Abstract

The automated drug dispenser (ADD) represents a revolutionary leap in healthcare accessibility, seamlessly integrating advanced pharmaceutical technologies to streamline obtaining prescribed medications. This cutting-edge system leverages the power of the internet of things (IoT), mobile app development, database management, and cloud computing to create a patient-centric approach to medication dispensation. It is a user-friendly interface that transforms the patient experience. By employing a mobile app, individuals can effortlessly navigate through the system, initiating the drug retrieval process with a simple QR code scan. This enhances efficiency and ensures accuracy, as the system rapidly identifies and dispenses the correct medication. A pivotal feature of ADD is its utilization of specific patient details to establish a secure connection. By referencing individualized information, the system not only verifies the patient's identity but also updates a centralized and protected database.
