Abstract

The chapter examines women's leadership in Ukraine, focusing on stereotypes and factors affecting the perception of women in management. Understanding the decision-making process and breaking down stereotypes is critical in an equitable management environment. The results show that gender stereotypes largely prevent women from applying for leadership positions in Ukraine. Supportive measures such as career development programs, mentoring and flexible work arrangements can enhance women's leadership and organisational effectiveness. The study emphasizes the need to eliminate gender stereotypes and create an inclusive environment. It emphasizes the unique contribution of women and the importance of gender diversity for societal progress. The implementation of inclusive and socially responsible practices together with an effective communication policy is vital. Ensuring gender equality and empowering women are essential for sustainable development, economic growth and social progress.
