Abstract

In India, agriculture and allied activities provide the majority of the rural population's primary source of income. Many efforts are being made to raise these people's standard of living. One such attempt is to boost agribusiness and support rural youngsters. The objective of the study is to identify the constraints faced by agripreneurs while selecting Agripreneurship as a profession as well as analyse the relationship between experience, number of employees and constraints faced by agripreneurs. A purposive sample technique was used to collect data from four geographical zones (east zone, west zone, north zone, and south zone) of Haryana state, which included 22 districts. To accomplish this objective, a Friedman test method has adopted. The major findings of the study highlights that most of the agripreneurs believed that lack of financial sources & marketing issues were the major barriers in selecting agri-preneurship as a profession and the study further revealed that there was no significant effect of number of employees and experience on major constraint faced by them.
