Abstract
Deepfake technology, which integrates advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and big data analytics, is posing a significant threat to the authenticity and reliability of information in intelligent finance and sustainability. This technology can lead to deceitful investment schemes, false information dissemination, manipulation of market mood, and loss of confidence. To mitigate these risks, a comprehensive strategy should be adopted, including stronger authentication methods, investment in advanced detection technologies, stakeholder education, and regulatory actions. This will ensure investments align with authentic ESG objectives and contribute positively to global sustainability goals, thereby protecting the credibility and efficacy of smart finance and sustainability activities.
