Unveiling the Educational Potential of Virtual Reality (VR) Technology

Abstract

This study reveals the educational potential of virtual reality technology, and analyzes its development track, research status at home and abroad, current application and future prospects in the field of education. The multi-dimensional advantages of VR are explored, the educational value of virtual reality is analyzed, and the learning theory related to the educational application of virtual reality is introduced in detail. In addition, this study also examines the practical application of virtual reality in education, including virtual campus, virtual learning environment, virtual laboratory and so on. It emphasizes the challenges that prevent virtual reality from being widely integrated into education, and emphasizes the necessity of technological progress, teacher training and improvement of practical models. Finally, this study also provides suggestions and future prospects for the better integration of virtual reality technology into education, and outlines the ways to use the full potential of virtual reality in education.
