Abstract

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Moodle platform in foreign language learning using the SWOT analysis method. The study was conducted through a sociological survey among 1st and 2nd year students of the humanities at The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, as well as lecturers from the same institution. The participants included 102 students from the 1st year and 64 students from the 2nd year, aged 17 to 20, along with 37 lecturers aged 25 to 62. The data collected during February 2023 pertains to the first semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The research findings indicate that the utilization of the Moodle platform enhances the educational process and improves learning outcomes, while the identified threats are not significantly detrimental to the educational process.
