Abstract
This chapter examines how techno-sociopreneurship can improve the management of Islamic philanthropy. Focusing on a community service initiative by the faculty of Islamic economics and business at UIN Ar-Raniry, Indonesia, the study explores integrating technology and socio-entrepreneurial principles to enhance mosque-based philanthropy. The initiative provides education on managing Islamic philanthropic funds, improving financial reporting, and empowering economic and business activities from mosque funds in a village in Hatyai, Thailand. Using a case study approach, the findings highlight the importance of techno-sociopreneurship in empowering communities and promoting sustainable socio-economic development through philanthropy. Additionally, the study emphasizes the benefits of sharing knowledge to achieve economic independence in managing mosques and Islamic educational institutions.
