Navigating Corporate Finance, Investment, and Disclosure Under Climate Change

Abstract

This chapter delves deeply into disclosure, sustainable investment, and green bonds amid climate change, and shows the following insights: Corporate disclosure practices provide corporate practice under climate change and states the challenges that exist now. In the sustainable investment part, climate change issues are well discussed in the views of different entities, which are policymakers, firms, and investors, respectively. Green bonds part shows the role of green bonds on change such as investment preference and green transition to help address climate change. Furthermore, this chapter also provides practitioners with empirical suggestions to mitigate the negative effects of climate change and improve sustainability.
