Abstract
The ability to communicate through language is extremely important for social interaction and expression. Spoken language and communication develop naturally and spontaneously in many children; however, there are cases of children who experience problems and difficulties in learning and using language. In order to support children with difficulties, it is important to thoroughly determine how language terms and concepts are understood, and to explore ways of enhancing their language skills. More specifically, this text focuses on the cases of children with specific language impairment (SLI) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
