Abstract

Library instruction is important for students' information literacy and academic success. This chapter explores interactive learning strategies to improve engagement and learning outcomes during library instruction sessions. It discusses the benefits of interactive learning in fostering participation, critical thinking, and information literacy development in students. The chapter highlights the importance of interactive learning experiences in library instruction, including hands-on activities, group discussions, and experiential learning. It emphasizes the role of librarians in creating engaging experiences, using technology to enhance student interaction, and overcoming potential barriers such as limited resources and time constraints. The chapter stresses the need for innovative teaching methods to promote student engagement and information literacy development.
