Abstract

The healthcare system, viewed as an organization, demands robust security and privacy measures. These encompass safeguarding patient medical data, ensuring prescription drug safety, establishing secure connections with vehicles like ambulances, and deploying intelligent e-health monitoring systems. Blockchain technology has emerged as an innovative solution to enhance the security and integrity of medical data. It offers a potential resolution to the dilemma of balancing anonymity and secure data exchange. The study introduces a privacy-centric approach for blockchain and internet of things (IoT) integration, leveraging the advantages of cloud computing alongside blockchain. This approach not only integrates IoT functionalities and provides solutions for blockchain nodes but also manages identity authentication for health data. It addresses the computational limitations of certain blockchain routers, ensuring the validity of information. Through simulation experiments, the proposed technique demonstrates its effectiveness in tackling challenges such as complex computation, data exchange, and privacy preservation, while upholding the quality of medical data.
