Abstract
We live in a world characterized by technological development that is proceeding at exponential speed and that has brought about substantial changes at a social and organizational level. The effects of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the digital transformation require individuals and organizations to adapt, developing new skills and a new work culture capable of accompanying the changes taking place and empowering the workforce in this new scenario. The digital transformation does not only imply physical or structural changes related to new technological devices; it also requires the development of new ways of working and of relating to new technologies and to other individuals.
