Abstract

This chapter speaks to internal reflection as a means of understanding what is not known when approaching multidimensional international business relations. How does one recognize self? When talking about self, is one person being referenced? The company as a whole? Both? The answer is all of the above. Using real-time communication one can increase trust in self, and the team, by responding with integration instead of reacting to challenges. This allows the individual the possibility of being the catalyst no matter the dimension. One can transcend. Looking at and understanding the importance of every voices personal ethos and its validity within one's own company will shift the path towards a more sustainable and a more equitable stance when moving through the global minefields of unfathomable priorities and beliefs. A new era of collaboration and confrontation, void of competition or attachment to the outcome, is here, and when that can be practiced within the company, these skills will translate globally.
