Do the New Global Challenging Issues Make Us Desperate?

Abstract

The aim is to elaborate global health issues, internet architecture, and the peaceful use of space because these new global challenging issues have global public goods aspects and very powerful effects on global welfare. First of all, internet architecture, prevention of global infectious diseases, space research, space mining, and space pollution have direct and indirect effects on ensuring the efficiency and continuity of the free market economy. Secondly, global healthcare services for the prevention of global epidemic diseases and the reduction of space pollution are closely related to scientific advances and technological developments. Finally, space explorations, space mining, and space pollution have different features from other topics discussed in the study. The prevention of environmental pollution from mining activities on the Earth and the prevention of space pollution have global welfare effects through not only using the Earth's orbit more effectively but also reducing the damages coming from inactive spacecrafts and satellites entering the Earth's atmosphere.
