Childbirth and Development in Infancy

Abstract

Living things start life with fertilization. Human offspring develop rapidly in approximately 38-42 weeks. Birth is a transition process where human offspring meets life. After a healthy birth, a new period begins for the baby and the mother. The first years following birth, infancy is a process in which the baby tries to adapt to life and gains basic skills. In this section, childbirth and the birth process are examined. In the postnatal period, it continued with the characteristics of the mother and newborn and the evaluation of the newborn. Development in infancy; physical development, cognitive development, language development and social and emotional development has analyzed.
