Abstract
This paper presents a case study of a child with vowel misarticulations in the absence of hearing loss, structural deformity, or dysarthria. The subject was a highly unintelligible 4-year 7-month-old boy, with multiple consonant and vowel misarticulations and a mildly disordered syntactic system. The case study is presented to stimulate interest and research in children with idiopathic vowel disorders.
