Abstract
Purpose. To present the various manifestations of COVID-19 on the part of the organ of vision. Material and methods. Literature searches were performed in the PubMed, Google Scholar and eLibrary databases. For the analysis studies were taken that were published between January 1, 2020 and January 1, 2022. Results. SARS-CoV-2 can enter the human body through the surface of the eye and cause COVID-19. Ocukar manifestations of infection can occur in the form of various diseases of the eye: conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, episcleritis, orbital cellulitis, uveitis, panuveitis, vascular diseases of the retina. The article also presents the neuro-ophthalmological manifestations of COVID-19. Conclusion. The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic continues to evolve and new ocular manifestations of COVID-19 may emerge. Ophthalmologists should be aware of the possible ocular signs of SARS-CoV-2 in order to prevent the development of severe complications of COVID-19.
