Abstract

This article explores the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to address traffic congestion. By leveraging UAVs equipped with route-planning capabilities, aerial images of traffic scenes are captured and analyzed using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). The processed data is then transmitted to a traffic management center, enabling timely recognition and response to congestion. This framework offers a practical approach to alleviate traffic delays, reduce fuel consumption, mitigate pollution, and enhance overall road safety
