Abstract

The Global Disaster Tracker will be an application which will be used to monitor the disasters happening around the world. The goal of our project is to create an application which can track disasters accurately and update new information in near real time. The dataset which will be used is using NASA’s EONET which stands for Earth Observatory Natural Event Tracker. EONET is a repository of metadata about natural events. EONET is accessible via web services.
