Abstract

The article deals with the main problems in the field of ionizing radiation measuring instruments testing for type approval. These problems are associated with incorrectly filled application forms, unreasonable metrological characteristics, lack of control methods in the technical documentation of manufacturers. A reason for programs on harmonized standards and updating of national standards in the field of ionizing radiation is presented. Detailed recommendations on the application of the necessary regulatory documents are given.
