Coded Aperture Gamma Camera Prototype Based on CeBr3 Single Crystal Position-Sensitive and Spectrometric Detector

Abstract

Article describes coded aperture gamma camera with single crystal scintillator CeBr3 detector coupled with digital silicon photomultiplier. This kind of detector shows high detection efficiency, have good spatial resolution and allow acquiring energy spectrum. Camera’s structure and characteristics are discussed, received gamma images are given.
