Abstract
In the experiment on young mature male-rabbits was studied the structural changes of the pancreas in the dynamics of hypopinealism induced by prolonged day-and-night lighting. It was established that in the result of day-and-night light exposure for 1–5 months in the pancreas occur growing in time damaging processes, that characterized by the degradation of structures both endocrine and exocrine part of the organ. At hypopinealism take place progressing death of β-cells of Langerhans islets and too high voltage of the β-cells that has remained as functioning. The data obtained suggest that the prolonged effect of light in the night-time should be attributed to a strong negative environmental factors, which by violating of structure and hormonal activity of the pineal gland are able to provoke destructive processes in the pancreas.
