Abstract

Abstract This article is based on an analysis of missions carried out by unmanned surface vehicles (USVs). It discusses measures taken in Poland to develop such vehicles, designed to provide support to operations conducted by the country’s maritime services, security and monitoring of seaports and critical objects. It summarizes the results of research and development efforts and presents a new approach to employing these vehicles throughout the world.
