SELECTED ISSUES OF METEOROLOGICAL PREPARATION IN ARTILLEY

Abstract

The authors present the possibilities of enhancing the precision of the execution of selected elements of meteorological preparation in field artillery subunits. In the first part of the article the authors list some significant differences and discrepancies in the specialist literature related to the terminology used in meteorological reports. The other part of the article shows some simplifications applied in the procedures for meteorological reports preparation as well as the potential for improving their precision in the field artillery fire preparation process.
