Abstract The preparation methods of Cr2O3 hollow micro/nano-sphere are summarized. The preparation methods are mainly divided into hard template method, soft template method and template-free method. The advantages and disadvantages of different methods are introduced and discussed. At the same time, the preparation methods of Cr2O3 hollow micro/nano-spheres are prospected
