Abstract
The goal of this study is to establish a proper simulation model of segregation, a phenomenon which causes inhomogeneity in filled polymer products. We did preliminary research, in which we calcinated injection moulded specimens of 80 mm x 80 mm x 2 mm, with 75 μm, 125 μm and 250 μm glass beads with 10 m%, 25 m% and 40 m% filler rates. According to preliminary simulations, the boundary conditions were set and an EDEM model was created.
