Abstract
The goal of this study is to investigate the utilization of a SEPIC in PV array-fed consumer applications. In order to run a centrifugal pump, a BLDC motor must be employed. It is possible to soften the start of a BLDC motor by using the INC-MPPT approach, which uses the SEPIC for management. As an added advantage, the SEPIC can adjust the input voltage level at its output when used as a DC-DC buck-boost converter. An SPV array may be optimised at any voltage level, independent of the voltage level being utilised, thanks to this feature. Through the use of simulated results created in the MATLAB programme, the dynamic and steady state performance of a BLDC motor linked to a centrifugal water pump powered by a PV array-SEPIC is analysed and confirmed in this study.
