Research on Application of Digital Twin in Simulation of Equipment Maintenance Support

Abstract

Abstract A large amount of data will be generated during the daily use of equipment, which is of great value to equipment management, maintenance support and other activities. Firstly, the characteristics and connotation of digital twin were analyzed, and it is concluded that digital twin can create high fidelity virtual model of equipment in digital way during the whole life cycle of equipment. It can more accurately simulate, monitor, diagnose, predict and control the real state and behavior of equipment physical entities in the real environment. Secondly, the simulation process and method of equipment maintenance support based on digital twin technology were proposed. Finally, the application of digital twin technology in equipment life cycle management was analyzed.
