Abstract
An abnormal behavior of the torque in the magnetite-maghemite system was found when studying the effect of physical composition on the magnetic anisotropy of the γ – Fe2O3 – Fe3O4 solid solution. The object of the study was thin epitaxial layers of oxides deposited on the surface (001) of a magnesium crystal Mg by chemical transport reactions.
