Abstract

Abstract The awareness of female adolescents about nutrition and reproductive health (NRH) to prevent nutrition problems in Indonesia is very important. This study aims to develop a digital video used in the school environment and the community to improve the NRH knowledge of female adolescents. The methodology of research is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The design and development phase produced a 30 minutes digital video format that contains NRH materials. The results of these phases showed that media experts considered the appropriate value of 4.5 and a nutritionist value of 4.4. The field testing implemented the video product in 3 Vocational High Schools in DKI Jakarta and West Java Province by involving 180 female students to measure the effectiveness of the use of digital video media. The field test results in a useful digital video for improving NRH knowledge of female adolescents.
