Abstract

Abstract The use of energy waste from thermal power plant ash and slag materials in the production of building ceramic materials helps to relieve environmental tensions in the regions, develop a “green” economy and transport and logistics infrastructure. Studies have shown that the ash-slag material has an increased content of organic matter (loss during calcination of 19-21%), carbon (C=7.8%) and calorific value (1600 kcal/kg), which will burn out or contribute to burning (for example, calorific value), creating porosity in the ceramic material. On the basis of liquid glass modified with sodium chloride and ash-slag material of the Aktobe TPP, a porous aggregate with high physical and mechanical parameters was obtained without the use of natural traditional raw materials (natural thinners, clay binders, etc.). Given that many ceramic factories to produce products for construction purposes as well as thermal power plant, located in the city or near the city, transport and logistics infrastructure can be solved more effectively through the use as a raw material slag material of a thermal power plant.
