Abstract
Abstract
Vehicle dynamics modelling is a tool in the hands of design engineers, that saves time and cost during the development phase. By using the model for simulation, a real vehicle and the measurements made on it can be generated; optimizations can be done with automated algorithms, sensors and measurements can be replaced, and the development process is simplified. However, for this to be feasible, it is necessary to develop a suitable model, that describes reality, with sufficient accuracy. The paper presents a model, suitable for running dynamic simulations of a pneumatically driven vehicle [1], and [2].
