Abstract
One of the most important issues in the field of information security has been and remains the issue a reliable user’s authentication. A special place among the possible authentication methods today is occupied by behavioural biometrics, which have a high degree of reliability. A keystroke dynamic, as a type of behavioural biometrics, is also capable of providing a high level of protection of information systems in the case of correctly selected characteristics. This article shows that external factors, including the psychophysiological state of a person, can also influence the authentication process by keystroke dynamics. In the paper, the state of the user was assessed in the process of collecting a sample of keystroke dynamics and a conclusion was made about the presence of such an influence.
