Abstract
This research aims to create and characterize the E-PANI indicator electrode membrane using SEM-EDX, XRD and FTIR analysis. PANI conductive polymer is better than PPy conductive polymer, o-NPOE variations are 61% and 66% more flexible in PVC-KTpClPB, as well as variations of one/three drops of 0.5 mL U4002 enzyme in PVA, glutaraldehyde (GA 2.9%). The working method of the potentiometric biosensor used is immobilization of the U4002 enzyme so that the analyte is urea. The multi membrane indicator electrode is E-PANI compared to E-PPy. The membrane consists of four layers, each coated only once on each indicator electrode. The E-PANI membrane analyzed by XRD produces a spectrum pattern with an intensity of 4400.0 (a.u) around 28.64 degrees, similarly E-PPy produces a spectrum pattern with an intensity of 224 (a.u) around 44.54 degrees. FTIR analysis shows an increase in % Transmittance by the indicator electrode using the PANI-HCl conducting polymer instead of PPy-H2SO4. Based on SEM-EDX, XRD and FTIR analysis, the best conductive polymer is PANI-HCl-6 M compared to PPy-H2SO4-8 M
