Terminal Explosion Power Test Flight Platform of Warhead

Abstract

Abstract Aiming at the shortcomings of high risk, high cost, low landing speed and low attitude accuracy of warhead terminal dynamic performance test, a low cost, recyclable and modular warhead terminal explosion power test flight platform is proposed. The overall scheme of two-stage flight is constructed, and the aerodynamic load of the flight process is analysed. In addition, the flight trajectory is designed. The numerical simulation results show that the flight platform can send the warhead to the specified test window, accurately control the drop velocity and attitude of the warhead in the test window, simulate the real flight environment of the warhead and the motion law of the terminal point. Therefore, the flight platform can realize the terminal explosion power test and test of the subsonic and supersonic warheads, providing technical support for the development of the warhead.
