A fast calculation model for interior ballistics simulation of a recoilless launch system with high chamber pressure

Abstract

Abstract Recoilless launch system is economical and convenient. This paper provided a recoilless launch system with high chamber pressure based on the theory of recoilless gun. A program for interior ballistics simulation of the launch system based on the mixed propellent was designed. The curves of chamber pressure and projectile velocity on time and projectile travels were provided by the program. And the phenomena of different combustion stages presented by the curve are discussed. The simulation results reached the set indicators, and it was consistent with the actual interior ballistics. The designed model has certain reference value for real-time simulation and fast computation.
