Abstract

Abstract Currently, many companies are actively switching to various types of cloud services for operational interaction of employees. Among cloud services video conferencing services are becoming increasingly popular. Cloud video conferencing services available in the public use have several drawbacks: charging, limiting the time to use the free version, the lack of flexibility in managing groups, the difficulty of recording and storing video data, and many other factors. The purpose of this work is to develop a distributed cloud video conferencing service in the higher education system. The paper describes in detail the architecture and operational scheme of the developed cloud service, presents the structure of the main directories and class diagram for organizing video streaming. For flexible management of video data flows, the network infrastructure of the cloud video service is based on the principles of software defined networks technology. The prototype of the cloud video conferencing service proposed in the work has a wide potential for use in various areas of activity.
