Abstract
The impact friction and wear treatment of high nitrogen steel base metal and its weld under different welding currents was carried out by TIG welding process. The characteristics of hardness distribution, wear resistance and impact strengthening performance of high nitrogen steel and its weld area under different welding currents were studied. The results show that the hardness of high nitrogen steel base metal after impact strengthening treatment increases by 8.96 %, and the increase of weld hardness after impact strengthening treatment decreases with the increase of welding current. The impact strengthening effect of the base metal is more obvious, and its wear weight decreases with the increase of the impact times. Due to the loss of nitrogen under the action of welding heat, there is no obvious law of weld weight loss.
