Abstract

Abstract Creeping landslides are natural disasters and social disasters that often occur in the world. One of the main factors causing slope failure is rainfall and earthquakes. In this study, the constitutive model is described and analyzed for termite drift using the physics of landslide approach to deal with geomorphic changes as triggers for ground motion. The constitutive behavior of the soil-rock cover of the slope is characterized along a planar or curved slip plane and consists of different soil properties with different slope strength parameters. The morphology along the slip plane of the creeping soil is studied and analyzed to estimate the mass movement of the creeping landslide before being inhabited by rainwater and inhabited by rainwater. Calculation of the maximum velocity and runout time using the parameters of the slope geometry. The analysis shows that the geometry of the soil creeping plane on the slope and the different slope angles of the slip plane affect the velocity and runout time of the creeping landslide.
