Abstract
Abstract
As an important parameter for quenching and simulation, the interfacial heat transfer coefficient (IHTC) is hard to be directly measured through experiments. Researchers have come up with different methods to solve the problem. Currently, the numerical method, the heat balance method (HBM), the Beck’s non-linear estimation method (BEM), and the lumped heat capacity method (LCM) are the main methods of calculating the IHTC. In this paper, the direct heat conduction problem and the solution are firstly analysed, then the solutions and applications of different methods for calculating IHTC are summarized and reviewed. The different methods are compared at the end of the paper.
