Abstract
Synopsis
The state-selective single-electron capture processes were measured by cold-target recoil-ion momentum spectroscopy in O
6+-He collisions between 18keV and 96keV. From the longitudinal momentum spectrum of recoil ions, the single electron captured into n=3 states of projectile ion is predominant and n=4 states have a small contribution. The oscillation structure of angular differential cross sections was observed. The present experimental results are compared with other experiments at low energy and the predictions of the molecular Columbic barrier model.
